Blue Fin Families,

We are excited to finalize our planning for the 2021 swim season! My name is Sarah Hammer and I am looking forward to joining the staff as your new head coach. My experience with swimming began as a swimmer with Powel Crosley Jr. YMCA and continued in college at Illinois Tech. I have coached for the past 15 years, most recently as Team Administrator and Assistant Coach at Powel Crosley Y and as Assistant Competitive Aquatics Director in Wilmington, Delaware. I have been a Blue Fins parent for the past 3 years and I am looking forward to leading the team to continued success and fun! I have four children with my husband Brandon and we live in Symmes Township. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

A little information about the upcoming season:

• Registration will begin in May - it will be a quick turn around, so be on the lookout for more information.
• This season will look a little different as we aim to keep everyone healthy and safe. Please be patient with the staff as we try to navigate this new normal.
• We will be hosting parent meetings in May to go over the season, any changes to procedures and help answer any questions you may have. Please plan to have one parent in attendance.
• We are hosting Championships this year! This will require lots of help from all our families, so plan to attend and lend a hand wherever necessary.
